August 20, 200917 yr You guys don't go very Old school. Here are a couple of names from the past. Dan Fouts Johnny Unitas Fran Tarkenton Terry Bradshaw Brett Favre ( he's as old as these guys, right?) Don't forget Bart Starr !
August 20, 200917 yr Brett Favre is not one of the greatest QB's. He has the records but took a lot longer to get them than any of the QB's he passed.
August 20, 200917 yr I don't know what it is, but there's just something about his game that I dislike. Wireman... It's the 2 rings. There it is...
August 20, 200917 yr All Time: 1. Montana 2. Marino 3. Elway 4. Aikman 5. Young Now: 1. Brady 2. P. Manning 3. Warner 4. Brees 5. E. Manning All time I like 1. Elway 2. Montana 3. Unitas 4. Tarkenton 5. Young
August 20, 200917 yr Are you guys that are not listing Brady as top 5 all-time being serious? I find it more of a joke that people are list Peyton Manning on their all time list, now that is hilarious.
August 20, 200917 yr Are you guys that are not listing Brady as top 5 all-time being serious? There are so many great quarterbacks throughout time that I have no problem with this. However, his performance goes well beyond stats and his rings speak for themselves. I remember a playoff game against my Steelers where I felt the secondary played incredible. Brady shredded them even though receivers were well covered all game. When he and McNabb both struggled to hit anyone in the first half of the superbowl, I was beyond irate. I quickly realized he carried them there and did win the big one in the second half!:thumb: I find it more of a joke that people are list Peyton Manning on their all time list, now that is hilarious. I wouldn't list him quite that high but we are in a generation that looks at numbers without a total understanding of what those numbers actually mean in the big picture. Manning is like a very minature Marino. He is a great passer but doesn't quite complete the picture. In my opinion Marino was the best pure passer of all time but he was not the best quarterback.
August 20, 200917 yr Now: Brady Manning Roethlisberger Brees Warner All Time: Montana Marino Elway Bradshaw Young Insert Brady for Marino and it looks good. Seriously, how in the world are people not including Brady?
August 22, 200917 yr Insert Brady for Marino and it looks good. Seriously, how in the world are people not including Brady? I think some people separated the two. They didn't include current guys as options for the all-time list. I could be wrong about that though.

Dan Fouts Johnny Unitas Fran Tarkenton Terry Bradshaw Brett Favre ( he's as old as these guys, right?) I think Sammy baugh is one of the greatest players to ever play the game. In one year, lead the league in Passing, interceptions(as a DB) and Punting...
