I can't stand to listen to Beck myself, I share the veiw of many others on here that think he's an idiot. But for those of you that really hate him, this if for you.

Since anchors generally sit behind desks, I would assume that's where his legs are. Otherwise, he would be the tallest anchor in TV history -- or for that matter, the tallest man in the world.

No, I think the cartoonist is using the Democrat symbol in speaking of the left, not the government. I think many cartoonists do this in political cartoons regardless if the point be about the right or the left.

OK. That is perfectly reasonable response to Beck and is not a free speech issue.

He was funny, before he started to take himself seriously.

 

And the Daily Show was funny when he had Colbert and Carell propping the show up.

I'm a little confused here. Shouldn't companies be able to choose which media outlets that they want to back by advertising? I think that Beck is sinking fast and that businesses that no longer want to support his rants should have that freedom. They aren't pulling their support of other conservative talk show hosts, are they?

Sure, I'm not taking one side or the other, just pointing out what happened.

On the other hand, I see Beck no worse than Bill Mayer as both are idiots. I just don't see an outcry for support to be pulled from his show since he's far left. Seems those on the left aren't held to the same standard as those on the right. Just my opinion.

Bill Mayer is funny sometimes...but I can see why some people hate him. Glenn Beck is not funny...ever. Well not on purpose anyways.

I agree that Beck isn't funny, although I don't think he really tries to be. Mayer is a jerk, but no more of one than Beck IMO.

As to Mayer being funny, comedy is like beauty, as beauty is in the eye of the beholder one can also say that comedy is in the ear of the beholder. To each our own, that's what makes life fun.

Not necessarily. There's also Bill Moyers, who's a lightning rod for criticism from rightys, and I've seen his name butchered almost as often as Bill Maher's on here.
