I didn't know Tim. I only know Bill through BGP. Yet I feel a real personal loss with this news. Bill has been such a great contributor on the site. Always classy. Always with pride in the achievements of Fort Campbell. And all of us with sons playing football empathized and cheered with Bill as he followed his son from afar while serving to protect all of us. Prayers to you, Bill, and your family, and all those at Fort Campbell from Beechwood.

Our prayers are with the Williams family and the Fort Campbell family as well!!!

I feel for the parents of this young man. I pray for his family as they have experienced an awful event. Losing a child leaves a huge void in you heart and life. What should give this family comfort is to know that this young man is a follower of Christ. Every article I have read talks about his faith. So the child is no longer with the people he loves on earth, but he is now serving his father in heaven. God Bless this family.

As for the coaches, players, and supporters of Fort Campbell I pray for the pain you are experiencing as well. As a coach I can't even begin to think how painful it is to lose a player. I will be rooting for you guys to come together and begin to mend your heavy hearts.

I leave everyone with this thought;

Death is the worse thing each of us will experience her on earth, but if you are a BELIEVER of Christ it is also the greatest thing.

God Bless the Fort Campbell Community.

Excellent thread, thanks for the information. Our prayers are with the Williams family. I don't have the words to express our feelings about this, just tragic.

Bill, please know we are all still thinking of you and praying for all of you as you go through this horrible time.

I feel the same way, and am deply saddened to learn of this tragedy. Prayers and thoughts to his family, and the extended family. God bless you all, and be with you in spirit, mind, and soul. Give them strength, and comfort, O' merciful Lord.

Amen-Thank God for the eternal hope that we have in Jesus Christ! May the peace of our Lord be with the Williams family.

This fine young man recently had Psalm 27:1 tattooed on his arm.

Psalm 27:1 - "The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?"

I don't have the words for what I am feeling for this young man's family and friends. I can't even begin to imagine the pain everyone is in. May God be with the family and friends of this young man. Prayers are here from the PH house as well as the BGHS Purples.

I've been out of town and read the story, but did not connect the dots until I got home. Prayers from the Ram household to the Williams family and friends, teammates, and for everyone who knew this young man.

Bill I don't have the words to tell you how much sorrow I feel for you and your family I just pray that you have the strength to endure such a loss

I just read this as well. Heart breaking. Our prayers go out to you.

Heartbreaking, my prayers are with you all.

Heartbreaking, my thoughts and prayers go out to everyone dealing with this tragic situation.
