Scott needs to prove that they can hang in the 10th. I don't think Scott will even make the Regional tourny, let alone beat the number one team in the 10th.

I'm glad to see someone else thinks that. IMO The 10th is much stronger than the 9th, top to bottom.

Did you see them last year? Very solid, with a lot of talent coming up from their top JV and Freshman teams. Would be a mistake to overlook them!!

Lets name some of the players that we think will be the best at their position in 2006. I will name a couple that come to mind. Ryan Keller a pitcher for Mason Co. coming off a 10-1 season last year should be very tough. Drew Lee from Montgomery County should be tough at short and on the mound, and Custard from Harrison should hit the heck out of the ball nomatter if he plays 3rd or catcher

Braden McCain is a good CF and a great hitter,but Austin Monroe of Pendleton is the best CF in the region when it comes to going and getting those long drives.Campbell saw that in the district last spring.

The best pitcher in the 10th will be junior Travis Hurd who started the Regional Championship game against Harrison as a sophomore.

 

Maybe not the best, but if he picked up some speed on his fastball in the offseason he could be.

Travis Hurd should have a real good year on the mound and at 1st base. He is one of the best hitters at his position in the region.
