With many in Washington talking about eliminating term limits for the President, I was wondering if they had thought about the unintended consequences? While many think that if term limits were removed Obama would surely rival FDR in length of Presidential service, I think it would be harder than they imagine.

I would have said William Jefferson 12 months ago.

Now, he came off as a loser and a whiner in the primaries and would get beat by Obama.

I think that this is a good question for later on, but at the moment, Obama's presidency is too young to judge against Clinton's 8 years. I do, however, lean between the last two choices.

Really? I'd say the opposite as true, President Obama's charisma is unmatched IMO...

I guess it's a matter of perception, but Clinton, to me, appeals more to our generation and is the better communicator. JMO.

I would definently vote for Clinton ahead of President Obama, I can tell you that. As one who has been an outspoken critic of Clinton's presidency, doing some research into it (and comparing it to Bush's and Obama's actions) have given me a newfound appreciation for SOME of the things that former President Clinton did.

I don't think term limits had anything to do with my graduation of h.s. :lol: :lol:

 

BUT, Dubya barely beat Al Gore, who wasn't nearly as popular as Clinton.

Clinton...he's smarter and a better politician. He would care the over 30 white voters. I'm not too sure it would be that close of a race.
