This game is possibly the best football game I've played. It has the college football feel (and PLAYBOOKS) with the Madden type game play. You have extremely good graphics, but what I'm really impressed with is the new styles for running plays and tackling. Defenders actually wrap up the ball carrier, RB's actually have some moves, and when linemen pull they actually get blocks. This is a game that real football geeks will love.

 

I haven't purchased the college version in a few years, but now I'm intrigued. CatsX3, once I finish The Show, I will pick it up, it will be a few weeks from now. You should have plenty of time practicing so I'll play you with the '01 Canes.

I can't find the historical rosters on there, is the only problem. But, yes it is so much better than any of the previous ones. The graphics are realistic for a college game, and the game play is pretty good. But, yeah we'll play and you can be the U. I'll go with my 2nd team, UK.

I tend to trust IGN reviews and they gave it a good score but said it was dissapointing in the effect that it is bascially the same game as last year, very minor tweaking. I have yet to buy it, probably will when I catch it at BestBuy or Target for $40, they tend to have the games on sale within a couple of months of their release date for a week.

IGN must have not played much of it to be honest. '10 is nothing like '09. The graphics are better, the game play is completely different. It's the same controls for the most part, but '10 has more of a Madden-type feel as far as game play. Also, this is the most advanced the playbooks have ever been. I use UF's playbook because I like the spread, and they have everything but the jump pass. There is even the counter trey they use when they send a wr in motion (all that crazy Harvin-type stuff).

 

I honestly think it's the best football game that has been made. It's by far the best college football game, and well it plays better than last years Madden. Plus I'm biased, the NFL is garbage compaired to college football.
