WoW

So I was just wondering, mostly out of curiosity, if anyone else had succombed to the addiction of WoW (World of Warcraft)?

I know, I know, this is dangerous talk among such sport fans, but even the best of us can get hooked on a game sometime

So, just wondering if anyone else out there had or is played/ing it.

Never heard of it. Is that what your avatar is about?

I'm with LRCW, never heard of it.:idunno:

While I've never played it I do know of the game. Basically it's an online PC game.

That's about the extent of what I know...It may be a monthly fee game as well. Not sure though.

Nah, my avatar is actually the album cover for my favorite bands new c.d.

It's online rpg that has over 12 million players.

I just thought with 12 million, that maybe one of those 12 million might be a registered user here.

Yeah, it cost $15 a month :sssh:

My boys play this game and it is highly addictive!

I have been addicted to it on about 3 occasions. Last summer I finally kicked the habit and despite attempts by friends to get me back into it I have not succumbed. I am done with it.

I would love to kick it for good. I'm trying to slowly break myself from it, but it's hard.

Isn't that sad?

One of my friends dads used to play. Before he was saved he was bad on drugs, and alcoholic..

He told me one night out of everything he's been addicted to, WoW was by far the hardest addiction to break.

Played this game for around 2.5 years.

Had two level 80 toons and like 4 over 55.

Very fun game but VERY hard to stop playing it.

I stoped playing about 3 months ago.

Hope to improve my grades this semester as I won't be playing.

The funny thing is, I walked away with my main halfway between 69 and 70 when 70 was the max level.

I was sitting there and I hit a realization that the game was nothing more than grind-city dressed up in different areas. Finally I'd had enough, deactivated my account and walked away.

I'm slowly being sucked into Azeroth...I hate the one who introduced me to it.

The limit of my exposure to WoW was the South Park episode about it, which was incredibly hilarious.

Now, Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness was an awesome game back in the day.

Yes, I used to play. I got my Death Knight to level 80 and stopped playing about 2 months ago.
