AP) WASHINGTON – A Duke University official has been arrested and charged with offering his adopted 5-year-old son for sex.

 

Frank Lombard, the school’s associate director of the Center for Health Policy, was arrested after an Internet sting, according to the FBI’s Washington field office and the city’s police department.

 

According to an affidavit by District of Columbia Police Det. Timothy Palchak, an unnamed informant facing charges in his own child sex case led authorities to Lombard.

 

Authorities said that Lombard tried to persuade a person -who he did not know was a police officer -to travel to North Carolina to have sex with Lombard’s child.

As disgusting as it is, its not a national story. I did see it online on many sites though. The Duke LAX story was a national story.

I think the jailhouse will either break him or reform him. Even inmates have ethics and boundaries. I know law enforcement officers and have had a few former inmates as patients and they do not "treat" child molestors well in the big house.

I would certainly think it would definitely hurt the cause of homosexual couples wanting to adopt. I guess that's the real reason that the main stream media has not publicized this story.

It may not be a national story in terms of the number of people affected, but it certainly qualifies because of the weirdness factor coupled with the fact that person in question is a quasi-public figure. His high-profile position makes it a bigger story than your average molestation bust.

This story absolutely has sex and race. Gay white man adopts black infant. Sexually abuses child. Offers child to others to molest across state lines.

The main stream media is as left as it gets. This story would do great damage to gay adoption in this country. The media is not going to do something that would cause harm to their lefty liberal brethren. If this was a white conservative heterosexual couple charged with doing this to an adopted black child, they would be crucified on TV. The ACLU would be involved.
