I live right beside a Five Guys here in Johnson City, TN. I have ate there several times but I just don't think its as great as everyone makes it out to be. My wife and I ate there last week and it was around 17 dollars for 2 burgers, 1 order of fries, and 2 drinks. That is really pricey for 2 people to eat at a fast food joint.

 

Word of advice: Do not order grilled onions because they make your bottom bun so soggy it virtually disappears.

They just opened one up on Nicholasville Rd. in Lexington as well.

I don't think 5 Guys falls into the "fast food" category. Its usually about a 10 minute wait from the time I order to them having my burger ready.

 

You're also paying for higher quality food.

 

If you're on a McD's budget its not the place to go.

Their mushrooms and jalapenos are unbelievable. . and so is that hot sauce. (me licking my lips)

GREAT burgers! It ranks right up there on my list with In-N-Out and Fat Burgers!

No, a Wingers is opening there in January. It is just down from Red Lobster, across the street and next to McDonalds.

I had Bards last weekend and 5 Guys today. Bards to me is still every bit as good if not better and it's cheaper. 5 Guys is good I just don't get the hype I guess.

Ate at 5 Guys today for the first time. Very very tasty burger and the fries may be even better. It taste to me like a burger you would get at a Dairy Bar, only much much better, if that makes any sense whatsoever. Very good though.

It's on Winston in Latonia. Right around Goodtimers II.

Had a very tasty Black and Bleu burger at Skinny Legs tonight.

There's one at Rookwood now, as well. I haven't tried it yet.
