Not looking good for the Lakers with Ariza....

That's the position Ariza put himself in with a solid 2008-09 regular season and even better postseason. David Lee, Ariza's agent, indicated recently there will be no home-team discount for the Lakers. "You have to be open to anything," Ariza said six hours before free agency was set to begin. "Basketball has been a part of my life since I was a little kid. I love the game. At the same time, it's a business. I love my teammates and I love the coaching staff. But at the same time, I have to do what's best for my family at this point." Fanhouse.com

If they lose either, then Andrew Bynum actually staying healthy becomes a much bigger issue.

If they lose both, then it won't matter.

If the Grizz get Lee, they will actually have a pretty solid lineup next year.

PG- Conley

SG- Mayo

SF- Gay

PF- Lee

C- Marc Gasol or Thabeet

If they lose both, could they afford to get into the Hedu sweepstakes?

They would have to make a move quick, looks like Portland is all over Hedu at this point

Looks like the Pistons got Villenueva and Gordon done, per ESPN

Former Bulls guard Gordon will receive a five-year, $55 million deal, while former Bucks forward Villanueva gets a five-year deal for $35 million, sources told ESPN.com's Chris Broussard.

I figured Cleveland would go after Villenueva.

I wonder why they didn't.

Well that takes them out of the 2010 free agent sweepstakes.
