June 27, 200917 yr Kind of like how the Iraq war was supposed to last no more than 6 weeks? Wars are never that easy. War was won well under 6 weeks, problem was we didn't just pick up and leave afterwards because of the instability between the Shiites, Kurds, and the Sunni's. If something were to happen with N. Korea I think China would have a MUCH MUCH larger role within the post war efforts and helping to secure that area because it's in their back yards.

It's the worst place to fight a war. He has a conventional army and no religious fanatics. The people are pretty much starving and they are only allowed to use electricity in small amounts. We would have air superiority from the time it started, and I would be willing to bet after 48hrs the troops would pretty much lay down like the Iraqis did the first time.......

It's the worst place to fight a war. China had something to do with us not finishing it then. Without Chinese involvement the Korean War wouldn't have lasted very long imo. China needs to put North Korea on notice to cool it, and fast. They listen to the Chinese when they realize they've pushed the envelope a little too far and have irked their powerful neighbor.
