Gonzalez to the DL. He has several loose bodies in his elbow, and will have surgery. He's expected to miss at least 4 weeks. Wilkin Castillo and Danny Richar are being added to the roster. A couple of more moves are coming. Richar has to be added to 40-man. The moves won't be announced until the tell the players affected.

I'm not sure why two roster moves, unless Maloney is being sent down, and Bailey will be called back up to pitch the next time that spot in the rotation comes open.

Or could it be that the Reds have made a trade with the White Sox for Dye, and that a couple of the players leaving from the Reds were on the 40 man roster? I'm just trying to make sense of adding Richar to the 40 man roster.

Update,on Reds Pitching;

Reds pitching is 4th in NL and 5th in ML with a 3.88 ERA.:banana:

The Reds Batting,well, thats another story.:irked:

I love all the old time jerseys.
