I'd go with Redick, Sasha, Luke but you are right in your assessment and that is my whole point. There is no huge drop off from one to the next so I'll roll with the Dukie all day every day.

I think Luke peaked 3 years ago and we are on the downside of his career. He is getting worse with every breath we take.

How is Sasha better? JJ had a much better Finals and overall playoffs than Sasha did, for that matter. Did Sasha even play in the Finals?

 

Luke's advantage over JJ is that he is taller and fatter so he can get a rebound or two more than JJ, but seriously, what else does Luke do. He can't shoot, he's scared to shoot, he misses free throws, and if his last name wasn't Walton, he'd already be out of the league.

 

You can't tell me that the Lakers couldn't use a guy who the defense wouldn't pay attention to that can actually hit a wide open 3.

That's debatable, they are both awful on defense. Keep in mind that Luke has to guard the Carmelos, Vince Carters, and LeBron's of the world. JJ has to guard Kobes, Ray Allens, and Ben Gordons.

 

I feel sorry for both of them when they hit the court in all reality.

He turned and looked away from the goal on so many open looks that it was akin to playing 4-on-5 when he was out there because he wasn't going to shoot no matter what. Then, he'd turn it over. At least JJ would shoot and if he missed, Howard likely got the rebound. He also was a good reason the Magic won their close out game against the 76ers' when Howard was suspended. How many playoff victories did Luke and Sasha help the Lakers get?

Here I will settle this unbiasedly. JJ Reddick is a garbage NBA player. Luke Walton is a garbage NBA player. Vujacic is a garbage NBA player. Of the 3, I will take Sasha, Walton, Redick in that order, but it's not like there is a big difference.

One of them is a shooter that hits about 40 percent of his threes. If that's all he can give you, he isn't worth bringing off the bench.

As a Laker fan would you be worried if they Lakers traded Sasha or Walton? Probably not. You would be getting a different scrub with a different skill set most likely. The NBA, a scrub is a scrub.
