I don't care if the Lakers win or not. I just cannot stand Phil Jackson. He is the most overrated coach in NBA history, IMO

Honestly at the NBA level alot of the coaching is done in between games. Really I just think of them as baby sitters for all of the egos they have to try to deal with.

I think he is the best coach in the NBA right now and will go down as one of the best in the history of the game. I really hope there is a lot more to your arguement then, "anyone can win with MJ or Kobe", because that gets a little tiresome.

Really I just think of them as baby sitters for all of the egos they have to try to deal with. Honestly most of them are coaches without titles. I think that Jerry Sloan is a great, underrated coach. Sure he hasn't won a title, but Malone and Stockton really went through an era when they didn't have much of a chance between the Celts, Lakers, Pistons, Bulls and Rockets. He just wins no matter what the talent level of the Jazz is. I think Adelman is a great coach. He would have a title had it not have been for the Shaq/Kobe train. Also, don't forget about Peja being hurt in that series missing games 5 and 6. Most coaches in the NBA do very little, but I think these two really make a difference and get the most out of their teams. We have agreed a couple of times in here, but on this I am going to have to respectfully disagree with you. He sits the entire game and maybe whistles a time or two. What has he ever accomplished that he wasn't suppose to. It is easy to win when you only coach talented teams. Another thing is that he will probably go down as better than Aurbach. That is garbage. Auerbach changed the game of basketball when he drafted Bill Russell. Post play never would have developed as quickly defsively without old Red and Russell. What has Jackson ever accomplished besides watching 4 of the greatest basketball players of all-time win titles for him? And mainly I'm a fan of records staying where they belong.
