Milton Bradley thinks Umps trying to ruin him

Featured Replies

That should help his cause, and more than likely get him suspended.:lol:

You know, I dealt with Jimmy Edmonds in a Cubs' uni, but I just cannot deal with Milton Bradley. I dislike him more every time he opens his mouth. His .188 average doesn't help me like him any more, either. If he can hit over 300, then I might start to like him a little.

No kidding! Maybe we should trade him to the Indians for Derosa :D

So you still like the signing of him for 30 Mil. I tried to tell you.

That makes two of us. :thumb:

I guess you guys are fortune tellers. The dude hit awesome last year and had he hit like that this year, I'd have zero problem with the signing.

Rocket, it didn't take a fortune teller to read these posts and see that this was a disaster waiting to happen. There were red flags everywhere. The 7 teams thing should have scared any GM off. He'll probably get suspended again for his comments, even if he doesn't good luck with any borderline pitches from here on out. Just think, you get 2 1/2 more years of this.

I think this is going to end badly. There's a reason that Bradley has been with 6 teams (the Cubs will be 7) already at the age of 30. This reminds me so much of the Red Sox signing of Carl Everett back in 2000. It was easy to look at the talent and the potential "if he's healthy and has his head on straight." Both were world class head cases with a lot of talent and potential who were coming off career years and were overpaid by the teams that signed them because both teams had disciplinarian managers who could "fix" their attitudes. It didn't happen with Crazy Carl and I don't see it happening with Milton Bradley either--I'm glad it isn't my team that is on the hook for 3 years of his act.

What is it 101 coming up?:walk: Hey I'm just stating the facts. You guys put 30 Mil into a guy that will be lucky to play 120 games.

Hasn't played more than 60 games in the field in the last 4 years. Good luck with this one.

He started early, so teams have been cautious for a reason. Plus he's only played more than 101 games once since his debut in 2000...

You figured out the multi quote button, sweet!:thumb:

Your comment on Twitter is the best thing I've read all day

It was pretty great. :D

I liked Milton Bradley better when he just made board games.

Some lady said that you need some class or something. I almost spit my drink out when I read that.

Huh? I didn't see that. I will tell her how I feel too if I find it.
