Rumor: Chane Behanan of Aiken to Bowling Green?

I've heard from a few people that he was seen at BGHS with his mother and uncle recently looking to enroll for next school year. Anyone know if the rumors of him heading there are true or not?

At this point I know his mom is moving to BG and Chane will likely go with her. She has told me a few times the plan is for him to go to BG if he makes the move with her...

Maybe he wants to compete against George Fant? On paper, this would seem to move Fant from the top big man in his class to not even the best in the city.

Any insight into why exactly they chose Bowling Green over Warren Central? Fant's presence is really the only thing I could think of.

I've seen Fant but only twice, so not enough to accurately answer the question. From what little I've seen of him I'd take Chane. The kid is simply a physical specimen and his all around gave is really starting to improve this spring...

I terms of a national ranking type evaluation I'd say Fant is a 75-125 type kid and Chane is a 25-75 range right now...
