May 15, 200917 yr Author Agreed, they really need to earn Peter King's respect... They need to earn respect, with 1 winning season in around 20 years it's not going to be given to you.
May 15, 200917 yr Author He's got Chicago way higher than I would. JMO I can't believe he has Chi-town that high and Tenn that low...

May 16, 200917 yr I don't think the Chargers will be as good as everyone thinks. 1.Steelers 2.Patriots 3.Giants 4.Eagles 5.Colts Your rankings are a little closer to what I think, with the exception of Indy and your take on San Diego. 1. Pitt 2. NE 3. Philly 4. NYGiants 5. SD Indy showed signs of fading a little last season and the complete change in coaching staff won't help. I expect their playoff streak to end this upcoming season. Getting Merriman back will be a big boost to San Diego, but they still have Norv as head coach.
May 16, 200917 yr I can't believe he has Chi-town that high and Tenn that low... 10, wasn't it? I don't have a problem with it. I'm not sure where I'd rank the Titans. They have some questions to answer.
May 16, 200917 yr Not EVERY team on that list has earned their ranking! Like? Most of those teams have had more than 1 winning season in the last two decades.
May 16, 200917 yr Like? Most of those teams have had more than 1 winning season in the last two decades. How are the last two decades relevant in these rankings? I understand you haven't had you're fix of ripping on the Bengals lately, but this one just doesn't really add up... If you wanna bring last year into the equation, then fine, but what does 20 years ago have to do with anything?

If you wanna bring last year into the equation, then fine, but what does 20 years ago have to do with anything? Well it looks like a trend to me. With their only winning season maybe a fluke. What have they showed to get more respect than what they are getting? :idunno:

May 16, 200917 yr Author Did I ask for more respect? I just said Peter King wasn't on the list that the Bengals need to be worrying about.... It's his job to make those predictions. I agree that the Bengals are not wanting or needing to get respect from King, but they do need to earn some respect, if it's just from their own lockerroom. :thumb:

They may have a winning season once ever 17 years or so, (Cicadas) but until Mike Brown is gone, those seasons will be very sparse. Darned shame too. A whole generation of fans has been missed.
