May 12, 200917 yr WOW, I like Rosales hustle but he is one of the worse fielders I've ever seen. He's brutal. Which might be polite.
May 12, 200917 yr ^^ He usually makes up for, like that solo shot he just hit. I love to watch him sprint around the bases too, he is an awful defensive player, but a spark plug. Nix is mashing too, glad Dusty has gave him a run... 6-2 Reds, top of the 4th.

I really like him and his hustle, but he has been awful on defense. I will say this though. He stays w/ it and doesn't let it get to him.

Exactly, I can deal with mistakes if a guy doesn't hang his head and keeps hustling.
May 12, 200917 yr Rosales with another miscue and the announcers blame it on the infield being "fast". He's a fun offensive player to watch but more and more it looks like he should be a DH in the AL. He's not even as good a fielder as Encarnacion on batted balls--he has a more accurate arm but he can't catch it. That said the Reds have been impressive with the bat tonight.
