Oh, I don't doubt that he's intelligent. I do believe though, that intelligence and the ability to conduct one's self in a civil manner are mutually exclusive. So, I'm not sure his natural arrogance and rudeness would be squelched, despite his intelligence.

I've heard the way callers who call in to his show are treated. Even the ones who are agreeing with him sometimes. And frankly, I'd rather see Rush go head to head in an honest debate with someone I respect.

Not since last October, or maybe it was September. That's when I gave up all talk-radio shows of a political nature. No matter who I listened to, they were rude, rude, RUDE, and I couldn't get past the general premise that I'm an idiot, therefore they're here to set me straight. And, yes, I mean ALL talk-radio shows of a political nature, regardless of their leanings.
