I have seen more Rush Limbaugh since Obama has been elected than I had seen the previous decade. If people do not want to know what he has to say (remember, he is a radio personality), do not tune in. His message has never waivered. However, he has been catapulted by the media and the Obama administration as the head of the Republican party. It really is a smart strategy if you want to marginalize the GOP.

 

If it is indeed a "strategy", it could very well backfire. My point being that I believe a BUNCH of "conservatives" set the last election out.

Again, not just Rush, but why would anyone assume that he could properly "debate"? He's not interested in hearing the "other side". He's more interested in shouting down the "other side". And, for the second time in this response, he's not the only one. These types of people are not interested in honest discourse. They make their money by creating controversy.

NEITHER side is interested in HONEST DISCLOSURE. Rush is not exclusive in this. And HONEST DISCLOSURE doesn't mean that ONLY Rush is right, or THE "LEFT" is right. The truth is both sides are right to some degree, but the extremes are WRONG.

In my mind the conservatives who didn't set the election out largely voted for the wrong candidate, starting during the primaries.

Not trying to be combative.. I just stated several times that Rush would debate fair and gentlemanly. Not who's side is right or wrong...Just a debate on the facts. Nothing more nothing less.... Ask each person the same question and YOU decide on who gives the most factual and true response... It's really quite simple..

Because there are rules that go along with proper debate, along with a moderator to make it fair for both sides... Rush is more than willing.. His detractors are not..
