Jerry Gross, that is a name I haven't heard in a long time, he got out of coaching when Sullivan left Campbell County. He was the top assistant there for Sullivan and was on the bench for the state tournament team in 2001.

 

Coach Gross had the makings of being a great head coach, but he has been out of coaching for at least a 2 or 3 years now. That would be very interesting if he gets the coaching job, is he getting an interview for it?

There is a guy in Hopkinsville willing to move his family to this area and be apart of something special. All these guys that we are talking about is making no sense to me. If you care about Bracken Co. schools and the kids in this county then we have to [put our personal feelings aside and get behind coach miles. He is the difference maker guys not only will people fear are teams but also they will envy our class, and other schools and kids could only wish someone like coach miles came along to help them with bball and life. This is are chance guys lets not pass this up.

This is no rumor all in, coach miles is wanting to come to a small school with talent and build something special. So if you know anyone who is doubting this just tell them to get on here and ask me questions I would be happy to answer and get this program back on track.

Right you are friend I could'nt have said it better. Fact # 1 Patrick kelsch still plays and still get's his. Fact# 2 Patrick Kelsch always had post game it has just gotten better with time. Fact # 3 when you come from a shooting family let's see the great Bill, Robin, Patrick, Todd, Ryan it's like riding a bike batman and robin except these people I just mentioned Pick the ball up rather than the bike. All I can do is hope he get's the job it opens so many doors for the kid's in this area. So yea I'm super excited and if they do make a good decision based on what these coaches bring to the table in the end everyone will be happy.

That's the thing, making a a good, informative decision. I think Coach Miles would be a great hire, but he has the chips stacked against him because the last few coaches came in and left abruptly. He may never get a real clear shot at the job because of that and that to me is the real shame here.

 

As far as the shooting contest, bottom line: Kelsch is and will always be the better player/shooter. How many points you score in the YMCA league or at ole Germantown gym really means little!

Excellent question! I wander the same thing.

 

I would believe early on w/all that has recently happened at Bracken County you would want to see improvement, but not just with wins and losses, but with the improvement of the players and their skill set! Make each player better and in the process improve your team. Can the coach "coach-up" his players?
