dolamite Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 MLB - Cubs NFL - How Bout them Cowboys NBA - heres something I have struggled with. Back when pro basketball was still booming in the 90's I was in love with Penny Hardaway, Shaq and the Magic, but that was short lived. Also loved the Hornets when they came into the fold with Zo, Mugsy, Larry, Glen, and that whole crew. However, after that the NBA went downhill in my eyes and I have struggled to relate to a team since. However, in the past two or three years I have really tried to find a team I can be passionate about much like I am about the Cubs and Cowboys. I was a heavy Celtics lean but didn't want to be called a bandwagon jumper. So as I was telling some friends a couple weeks ago, I have finally picked my favorite NBA team, and the winner is,......the Cleveland Cavaliers On a side note I like the Nuggets a whole lot too. If it wasn't for Melo' they would probably be my fav. Melo is good and key part of that team I just can't find it in me to like him and his punk ways. However, the fact I love JR Smith and he is one of my top three fav. players keeps the Nugs in the picture so I guess I can say I have a favorite team in each division.
Cheapsnate Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 NFL - Da Stillers NHL - Penguins MLB - Pirates NBA - ????? Wonder where you're from ?

Favorites to win the NBA championship (maybe)? BANDWAGON JUMPER!!! Kidding
sweet16 Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 MLB: St. Louis Cardinals NFL: St. Louis Rams, it was the 49ers until the Rams moved to STL NBA: Boston Celtics in the 80s, now I really don't have a favorite, follow players more than I do teams.
threetimelover Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 MLB--Chicago Cubs NFL--Tennessee Titans NBA--pretty much only watch the 4th quarter of playoff games!
dolamite Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 You mean the #1 seed Cleveland Cavaliers? Favorites to win the NBA championship (maybe)? BANDWAGON JUMPER!!! Kidding I told everybody the decision was two years in the making, and I didn't officially decide until around a month ago. IMO I've beat the deadline to be a bandwagon jumper considering how many Cleveland fans there may be if they win it all this year. I for one just love Lebron, and how he makes everyone around him better. The Cavs play good team ball, and know how important playing at home is.
