May 2, 200917 yr Both his Sire and Dam were good on the dirt. Then it begs the question: Why not run him on dirt for at least one prep? While his two works on dirt at Churchill haven't been bad, the blazers he fired on the synthetics show he clearly prefers that surface. It's just too risky, IMO, especially given the weak Derby showings we've seen from horses who've prepped exclusively on the poly in recent years.

May 3, 200917 yr I saw 1 person at Keenland win on the Derby lol. The super paid 555,000 or there abouts. I had the winner, runner up and 4th place horse in the last race on a $2 tri :(
