April 27, 200917 yr I would say they like the guys drafted at the position more than him. Makes sense...but I find it hard to believe that Russel was that hot of a commodity...
April 27, 200917 yr But, I must take one jab at the Bengals. How do you sign an RB & then cut him less than 2 weeks later? (Gary Russell). Could have been for a smokescreen or he might not be what they think they have now. The question you have to ask that one on is the Broncos. They went and got 3 RB's this offseason before taking Moreno in the 1st round!
April 28, 200917 yr Irons wasn't a bad pick at the time he was made. He just turned out to be yet another in a long line of Bengal snake-bitten picks. The guy could have been a very good back had he not been so seriously injured. Perry was a huge overreach in the first round. Exactley.
April 28, 200917 yr What's the world coming too? Three straight days of good decision-making by the Bengals...:scared: I'm already excited about this season.
April 28, 200917 yr I heard that weight was a serious issue for Russell...that could have been it Weight and small possession charge is why Pitt cut him.
April 28, 200917 yr Weight and small possession charge is why Pitt cut him. Those 2 together make a little sense.
April 28, 200917 yr Congrats to Huber, I think he will do great, and can't to see him punt for a team I like.
April 29, 200917 yr Weight and small possession charge is why Pitt cut him. So mainly weight? Because Holmes certainly wasn't cut for some drug trouble.
