April 26, 200917 yr Michael Johnson-Georgia Tech. 6'7 265. Top 50 talent, thought to be at one time a top 10 pick. Interesting choice. No doubt a talent. Motor is questionable but considered an exceptional pass rusher. Round one talent in round three. I'll take it. WOuld have liked to seen them take Caldwell, but went with Johnson.
April 26, 200917 yr Author Maybe they can swing A.Q. Shipley, the center from Penn State at the end of the 3rd round.
April 26, 200917 yr Maybe they can swing A.Q. Shipley, the center from Penn State at the end of the 3rd round. Only have to survive 3 more picks to get him. Be nice if Javon Ringer was still on the board when they are up again in round 4.
April 26, 200917 yr Would've liked to see them take Caldwell too, but you can't argue with the value and potential in drafting Johnson. The Bengals are off to a good start.
April 26, 200917 yr Coffman is a 1st team All-American. He is what the Bengals have been missing for years, another solid pick. I don't know what's got into them, they are making quality pick after quality pick. ESPN talking heads are even bragging about them. Coffman would've been a second rounder had he not broke his foot. He couldn't work out and slipped.
April 26, 200917 yr I would have liked Juaquin Iglesias, but this TE will be a good fit with the loss of TJ. Coffman looks like a GREAT pick though.
April 26, 200917 yr Author Would like to see them take the center out of Arkansas, Luguis??, or Shipley right here in the 4th.
April 26, 200917 yr Watched a youtube video of Coffman and he has a ridiculous set of hands for a big man. And he enjoys hopping over people rather than a stiff arm. :notworthy:
April 26, 200917 yr Great to go after a glaring need. Bengals are having one of the best drafts they have had in years!
