Bengals Day 2 Draft

Featured Replies

^ Kevin Huber from UC, played for coach Rodenberg.

His grandma used to live across the street from us. His dad was a very good football player at NewCath in the 60s. That right there makes him awesome:D Glad to see him get to play for the hometown team.

Don't mind taking a punter as Larson has been horrible, but 5th round seems a little early?

I can't complain about the picks, though. I love the CB from Michigan. We need some depth at CB, and while I don't know much about the kid, I've read that he's got some talent...

I thought I saw the Bengals also brought in punter Dave Plackemeier?

As a season ticket holder and going to all the games and watching Larson almost cause a riot in the stadium with some of his punts, I like this pick.

Interesting, I hadn't heard that.

If so, I wonder if one will be relegated to kickoff duties only?

Either way, getting rid of Larson is an improvement!

Do any of them kick off?

Maybe Andre Smith is a choir boy.:thumb: Until I opened the link, I thought you were messin with me. Funny stuff

I would like to see the Bengals invite Masthay up to try out for their kickoff duties. Masthay is a little slow for a punter in the NFL...but he sure can kick off like a mad man!

To be fair to the Bengals, at that spot in the draft, it's a low risk/high reward type pick.

You'd still think with their history they would avoid this type of person.

You would hope so.

I'd be surprised if he made the team.

Only bad pick they made.
