If so, what do people do for fun in Grayson? Leave town.:laugh: Seriously, it is a small town and not a lot to do. You have Grayson Lake and you will enjoy that this summer. You are very close to Ashland, KY and Huntington, WV and you can find things to do there.

If so, what do people do for fun in Grayson? From what area are you moving? I'm from Ashland, which is about 20-30 minutes from Grayson. Most people from Grayson go to Grayson Lake to boat, fish, swim. Outside of that, there's not a lot to do. There's a couple of malls in the Ashland area, and another one several more miles east on 64 in Ona, WV.

April 22, 200917 yr Grayson is a nice area, and has grown quite a bit over the last 5-10 years, and is still growing. Of course, as mentioned you have Grayson Lake, Carter Caves in Olive Hill. But outside of that, you will have to travel to Boyd County or Huntington, WV for entertainment. Not a bad drive, as you obviously know. You can always come over to Raceland for some Football Friday Night. We now have the Industrial Parkway, which connects I-64 just outside Grayson, to U.S. 23 in Greenup County. Twenty minute trip to Raceland from Grayson.
April 22, 200917 yr I think that Grayson's nickname is "Heart of the Parks". Several SRPs are close by, not just Grayson Lake. Carter Caves, Greenbo Lake, Cave Run Lake and Yatesville Lake are all reasonably close.

April 22, 200917 yr Very nice golf course. Several restaurants. Ky Christian College. Grayson is growing. However, they are the home to the longest red light in KY on the westbound on-ramp (coming from Ashland).
