The coaches worrying about the OL instead of the QB shows why they are real coaches and some of us are just internet coaches.:lol: It doesn't matter a whole lot who your QB or RB's are if no one is blocking for them. If the coaches want Travis to play, they need to be trying to convince someone other than Travis(I'm pretty sure he wants to play) if I was guessing.

If Mitchell plays QB theres no way he'll be on Defense, I see Taylor playing the secondary, but I don't know about Fritts they may just want him on offense so it very well could be Taylor!

Taylor has bulked up and there are probably more candidates that can play DB than LB, so I thought they might switch him. I agree that Mitchell won't play LB if he is the QB and O'Kuma played on the DL last year, so he may stay there. I'm not sure that Vorbeck will play and Fritts is coming off the knee injury, may be thin at LB. Are there any that I have missed that might contribute at LB?

Not that I can think of off the top of my head. But I'm not so sure Vorbeck will play either, and I can also see O'Kuma on the DL! However if Roman is not the QB he is a definate canidate for the other LB position.

Foley played linebacker before he got hurt. There is a couple line backers that looked good on jv Howington and Jones.

I would suspect you will see about 10 to 12 players seeing action on the lines this year. Seems like a good year to bring some of the younger players along and allow the veterens to get some rest until the playoffs as well. Foley will no doubt play one of the backers if he is healthy along with Watkins. Alot depends on who is playing to determine the best way to get the most talent on the field. Coach Jewell and company usually find the correct combination and always put a solid team each and every Friday night. Should be a very exciting year.

Heard that Smith tore his other knee up last night in baseball action Travis seems tp be one of this kids that just can't seem to stay in good health I just want to wish him speedy recovery and hope for the best football just don't seem to be something he will be able to do for now.Don't know the nature of the injury but it did'nt sound good. I was told last night that Corbin may look at Ben House and Trace Vorbeck at rhr QB spot along with Mitchell.I think that if Vinny Hoover would come out that he could compete for the spot also.Just wish that Smith could have got on the field to see how good he could be. But you never know maybe it might not be as bad as it seems said he would call me when he found out.

I watched the game last night, and saw him fall and it looked like he did the same thing he did at North Laurel last week when he first hurt it! Did he go to Lexington today?
