March 31, 200917 yr I say so. If nothing by 8:00 PM, were moving on. Moving on to what? Travis Ford?
March 31, 200917 yr I say so. If nothing by 8:00 PM, were moving on. Nope. You wait and see. It's been actual days and 3 business days (if you count Friday) since Gillespie was officially released. These things take time. If Cal turns us down, it's that much closer to waiting to see if Izzo will talk next week sometime. Got to be optimistic. Or insane, either way works well for me.
March 31, 200917 yr Author Moving on to what? Travis Ford? I actually believe Jamie Dixon is on deck. I just want it to be over, my head hurts.:isurrender:
March 31, 200917 yr Not yet. Atleast until tomorrow evening. We rushed last time and it turned out SOOOOO Well!!!!
March 31, 200917 yr If it makes your head hurt, quit reading it. Absolutely not, Kentucky should NOT give Calipari a deadline. At least not yet. They've made their offers, and I'm assuming that they have made it clear where they stand. There is no rush. Relax people. Take a break. Go for a walk. Quit hitting refresh every 30 seconds. The only reason that there would be a deadline is to appease the overzealous fans, and that is ridiculous & pathetic. Ask yourself this question: Would a deadline be in the best interest of John Calipari? Absolutely not. Would a deadline be in the best interest of the University of Kentucky? Absolutely not. So who would the deadline be in the best interest of? Oh, that's right. Those message board readers & bloggers who haven't done any work the past 3 days & continuously refresh their pages to see who the next source is. Give me a break. Let the people in charge do their job.
March 31, 200917 yr The deal is done and Kentucky already knows that. Calipari is just wainting to see what Missouri's coach decides to do. If Anderson goes to Georgia, Calipari will try to get his former player and assistant (UTEP's coach) the Memphis job.
March 31, 200917 yr You only give a deadline if you are in the driver's seat. UK is holding onto the luggage rack.
