I by next year I think Saban will be able to consistently challenge Meyer for having the most talent in the SEC and probably the whole country with the exception of maybe USC. Richardson and Ingram are nice backs, and Julio Jones is Julio Jones. I think by the times he's done he will be an easy top 5 pick.

 

And Grizzley, Barkley is by far the most polished QB coming in. I just don't see Pete Carroll starting a freshman as that kinda eliminates you from title contention. That said, he is a future star, IMO.

In the SEC West I'm going with

 

1. Jevan Snead Ole Miss QB

2. Jordan Jefferson LSU QB

3. Julio Jones Alabama WR

4. Michael Smith Arkansas RB

5. Anthony Dixon MS State RB

6. Every SEC Defensive player that has to defend Auburn's offense this season.

I think Auburn's offense will be much improved under offensive guru Gus Malzahn. If Chizik let's him run the offense his way, which I think he will, Auburn will score some points. I don't think they can beat UF, Bama or LSU, but I could see them being much improved.

I thought Sam McGuffie would be the suprise in Michigan, if he hadnt have transfered to Rice. All this being said , he will put up huge numbers for Rice.

We had a backup QB also transfer to Rice. He can play this upcoming season. Nick Fannuzi son of Mike ex QB at UK. A lot of us though that Nick would get some serious PT, but he didn't want to wait. He was recruited by Coach Saban. Nick was out of Texas.

True, they are aren't built for it. But Malzahn has made productive WR out of converted DB's and TE's, so I don't think they will be as awful. I no way do I think they can contend for the SEC Title, nor do I think they will be an offensive Juggernaut, but I think they will surprise some people.

Sheppard that is coming to LSU has a gear that I haven't seen a lot have at QB. He is very athletic!

Julio Jones is a flat out stud and I agree on Bryant.

I think M. Johnson has a chance to get a lot of national exposure this year right out of our own back yard.

I'm anxious to see what Pryor's growth looks like at OSU.

I'm also anxious to see year two of Paul Johnson at GTech. There will be some big yds piled up there on the ground when he starts getting his studs in there!

That is true. Pryor is a heck of a talent, but his passing has to improve. Against Texas he was throwing short on screen passes and quick hitches. If he can become even a decent passer, watch out.
