Great News, UK fans!!!

Like I said, the #1 thing to me is that UK win the race to 2,000 wins moreso than maintaining their lead over UNC. I'd love that too, but that's not realistic. UK barely beat Kansas to the 1,000 win mark, coming from behind to do so.

Don't know what the big deal is about all time wins. UNC has already been there several years back, and UK regained it from them. I see them going back and forth for a long time to come...............people make such a big deal out of this.

UNC was there in the late 80's through around '96 but it was a short stint compared to the years UK has held the title of "all time winningest college program." That's the big deal. :thumb:

Its always better to be #1 than #2. Bragging rights!

"#2 in NCAA wins" just does not have the same ring as "#1 in NCAA wins"!

Realistically, I believe UNC will pass UK in wins next season, or at the very latest, the season after. I just hope that UK wins the sprint to 2,000 wins. They need to get 10 wins before UNC gets 19. As I said before, a run in the NIT would be most beneficial, and obviously it would be great if UNC could lose as soon as possible.

I don't know about that. UK should be A LOT better next season, and well UNC loses their entire starting 5 don't they? I know UNC will be replacing them with very talented players. However they won't have much experience, so we won't see UNC just completely dominating next year. So I think as long as UK does a lot better next year like they should, then we will keep this lead for awhile still.
