Your Final State rankings

The reason I have them in front of Shelby Valley is because I think Mason is a better team. I mean the 2 sophmores Pawsat and Setty each only had 2 points, Pawsat was 0-0 from the field, so I think if there were a rematch between the 2 teams, Mason would win. But that's just my opinion.
From what I saw, the only reason Mason was even in the game was Middleton's five threes in the first half. Otherwise, Shelby Valley was in control.

Ok, and...Isn't Middleton a member of the Mason Co. basketball TEAM?

Yes ... and obviously, he wasn't going to keep that up.

Did you see the game?

Mason is a legitimate top-15 team, but not a top-five team.

Didn't have to see the game. Holmes isn't going to score 27 points in the first quarter of every game either, but does that mean Lex. Cath would of won? No. The point is, he was hot, he made the shots, his teammates set screens, they got him the ball. He did was he's supposed to do.

Bottom line ... Mason showed nothing last week to indicate they were a top-five team. If you had seen the game, you would've known that.

I agree.

1. Holmes

2. Elliot

3. Central

4. Eastern

5. Mason

Not even close to being top 5.

And if GRC didn't have Pervis out for the year, Zollo injuried in the semi finals game of the region, Rogers handicapped with the protective mask and all the other injuries GRC had this year...... Mason wouldn't have made it to Rupp. Mason beat a crippled GRC team to get to state. Give me a healthy GRC team I think we would have won .

I agree with the other posters, Mason is not a top 5 team.

I agree with you on all points, if GRC doesn't win state next year-which could be hard with Holmes and Scott County bringing back the majority of their teams-I think they are the hands down favorite in 2010.

Wow! West Jessamine makes it to the final 4 of the state tourney... gets beat by 5 points to Central and can't get in some of your top 10 teams in the state.:ohbrother:

There's no way West Jessamine is one of the top 10 teams in the state. They had a good run, BUT had a GREAT DRAW!

Mason is not a top five team. A healthy GRC team would have beat them easily.

There's a surprise.

Well, I'm glad you're surprised.

Well, I'm glad you're surprised.
There's some really nice property in Sandy Hook if you're looking to relocate considering your obsession with Elliott Co.. :thumb:

BTW, westsider is, as usual, right on the money when it comes to rankings!
