How did camp go at LMU?

I think they went to Union because of a wet field situation. I could be wrong, but I think one of the parents told me they were camping in Barbourville now.

I agree with DC, I think they will win the district but it will be close, never count out Dave Mitchell's team...

The LMU camp was cancelled and they ended up at Union...

It will not be easy because Lynn Camp is always tough and physical and uh oh, Campbellsville has a new coach and a ton of athletes. Campbellsville is and has been by far the most talented team in the district, but they haven't been able to get it going in the right direction. Chappel may have them rolling.

I saw them this summer in 7 on 7 and they do have some athletes but I think you guys will beat them.

Rule 14

I understand camp went pretty well, physical and no injuries. Saw alot of improvement from the inside linebackers and overall from the young o-line. If they stay healthy it could be a good year.

I have heard that the numbers are good for the Jackets.

Any word on who will be replacing kids like Lawson and Rollins?

How are those kids looking compared to who they replaced?

I don't tink Rollins can be replaced but Lowrie and Barton will be very good in the backfield. More speed than lawson but not as strong.

Cody Perkins looked to be a promising linemen for the Jackets and should be able to somewhat replace Rollins if healthy. Lowrie is a good athlete and will do a good job in the backfield. Barton is one tough kid and will probably play all over the field and be a playmaker as well.

Those are three solid kids that will lead the Jackets for several years to come. No doubt Moses and Petit will be counted on for leadership this year also. Just try not to aim them Fireworks down towards Slabtown this season. Me and my spiritual friends jump out of out lounge chairs when that bangin starts up on the hill. Last year, in one of those 50 point games, I thought we were being attacked.:ohbrother:

Hey, McCreary County has been accused of being obsessed with W.B. but I think it has been since 4/4/09 (that is 4 months) when someone (myself) last posted anything about McCreary on this thread. Sounds like there is some obsesive tendencies towards McCreary on the W.B. side of the mountain. I posted the way I did because I had some questions that I wanted answered. Those questions have been answered (4 months ago) and if you are posting just for answeres (not to get something started) then look at the KHSAA scoreboard and you will get the answer to the question you asked. With all of that being said, I will again wish W.B. luck this season and I hope R. Moses has a great year, I met his parents at a camp this year and they are real nice people. Also, it was neat seeing Moses throw the ball to Watts oh what a pair that would have made! Again good luck to the "Jackets"!
