I expect neither to make noise next year. I only saw both schools play one time this season, but West was non competitive (and their JV was too) and with East losing their stars they aren't going to be able to compete either. Why aren't the Jessamine County schools more competitive? Seems like it would be a hotbed considering the proximity to Lex.....

West is going to need some time. Their feeder system was null and void. You had several classes to never win a game until high school.

 

 

I saw their middle schoolers.....no offense but it doesn't look like it's getting much brighter anytime soon......

Really? I believe that their 8th grade team had the first winning season in school history. Some of those girls played on the varsity team this year. Small steps but strps forward nonetheless.

I can't imagine he would quit now with the team he will have back. Looks like he would stay at least one more year even if he does step down in the near future.
