Tibbs is back for 2 more seasons and the point guard is Kelsey Bamforth. She is very quick, a good ball handler and can shoot outside, but in the past very hesitant to shoot.

It is my understand thing she goes to Turkeyfoot Middle School, and will attend Dixie. She is in the 6th grade. I could be wrong on the Dixie part, but I do know she is at Turkey Foot Middle School.

Both Montgomery and Clark return a strong core of players. With Mary Jehlik Montgomery could be the favorite.

With a good summer and some young players stepping up for Bracken County they could have a surprise season next year!

I think some of Turkey Foot still goes to Scott . Not sure !:confused:If she goes there , she should get to play on the same team with her sister !:banana:I wouldn't want 2 girls playing varsity B-ball at different schools.

The younger sister is only a sixth grader and will not be in high school before Lauren graduates from Scott. Their father is the Asst. Principal at Dixie and Liza wants to attend Dixie so she is at Turkeyfoot and will eventually attend Dixie in a few years. The family lives in Scott's district and Lauren chose to attend Scott.

Was the player Kelsey Bamforth who would have transferred from Calvary Christian? I saw where a Bamforth played in the Regional Tourney and I need her first name.

My understanding of the situation is she was not allowed to play at first because of that situation. The move occured because Calvary did not offer varsity basketball this season so they appealed at the state level based on that fact and she was deemed eligible the last few weeks of this season. She lives in Scott's district.

Is she talented enough to replace Benzinger? She will be hard to replace, and I was just wondering if she could fill that void. If so, Scott has the potential to make some noise next season, too.
