Is she talented enough to replace Benzinger? She will be hard to replace, and I was just wondering if she could fill that void. If so, Scott has the potential to make some noise next season, too.

 

She is a true point guard where Shelby was much more comfortable at the 2 guard. They will lose some offense brought by Shelby, but will add a point guard who can handle pressure and penetrate. It will be interesting to see the end result.

I agree that Kelsey is a true point guard. In the short time that she did get to play for Scott, it was very evident to me that she will really help Scott next year with her ball handling skills. However, they still will need to have a player that can create offense as Benzinger did. Yes, Lauren Tibbs, no doubt will be the number one go to person on the team. But Scott will need more than just Lauren. At this point and time, I am not sure who that will be. But, anything can happen. I wish the Lady Eagles nothing but the best, and look forward to watching them play next year.

Kelsey can drive and dish and should be able to get the ball to Tibbs. She also has a pretty decent outside shot, she just needs a little more confidence to take the shot. She will also get some baskets by driving, just because of the attention that Tibbs recieves. Kelsey was D-III all conference team her sophomore year at Calvary.

I think they will too, just not next year.

It may be their first trip since the 1980's but it wont be their first trip.

My understanding of the situation is she was not allowed to play at first because of that situation. The move occured because Calvary did not offer varsity basketball this season so they appealed at the state level based on that fact and she was deemed eligible the last few weeks of this season. She lives in Scott's district.

 

Below would be the varsity games that Calvary played last season. So my question is does this change anything due to the fact that Calvary DID play a certain amount of varsity games last season?:confused:
