Not to me. I think you get the ball in the hands of your best player as many times as possible. Moving him to RB accomplishes this thought.

Well you had Clint Crawford, (graduates), Ollie Head, (graduates), and Tyler Fennell (Senior to be). It would be nice to see both Collinsworth and Fennell back there.

Having Collinsworth moving to RB helps to confirm my belief that HHS is a running team in sheep's(spread offense) clothing.

Can a middle school player practice with the varsity? Or is he only doing drills and no contact?

No one below the current freshmen can take part in Spring Practice with the varsity.

Why? That just adds another receiver out of the backfield. They have a lot of receivers besides Collinsworth.

The intensity picked up today at their practice. The coaches were more vocal than the previous 2 practices. I assume it's in preparation for tomorrow's inter squad scrimmage.

Fennell will be a short yardage back and Collinsworth will be bursting through holes and around the end for paydirt many a time next season. With Buten/Gold split out and Roller at TE it should be fun to watch.

 

How is Spencer Bankemper/Corey Compton looking in Spring Ball. I can see them vying for a lot of playing time in the backfield as well.

Welz has been playing TE all spring. He has not had any reps on the line, from what I hear. With Roller still recuperating, I don't think there are too many other viable TE options, or at least any with experience. Depending on what the coaches see through the rest of Spring practice, there is still time to move Kyle to the line, if need be. In an earlier post in this thread, someone remarked that there are a lot of linemen, and with Coach Turner's skilled instruction, perhaps the thought is that they have what they need.
