March 10, 200917 yr You'll need a lot less biased source than the Huffington Post to convince anyone of anything, that rag is the absolute worst. :thumb: I have more respect for statements from my worst enemys.
March 10, 200917 yr This thread does bring up an interesting question. At what point does this become Obama's stock market? When he was elected? When he took office? When his policies are in effect? Or does the magnitude of what we're facing lead to some other point when he takes ownership?
March 10, 200917 yr This has now become the 2nd worst bear market of all time, surpassing the bear market of 1937. The record is on the horizon, which would be the 1929-32 bear market. Think we'll get there?

Or does the magnitude of what we're facing lead to some other point when he takes ownership? That's a good question to ask. I have often heard that the miserable market and economy of '81 to '82 were the results of Carter's failures in the previous decade. Reagan was given a pass (not saying that's fair or not) and then credit for the turn around in '84. Based on one theory, it is what it is when you take it over. Based on the above, there is some distance allowed between the mess before and the mess you've made.

March 10, 200917 yr No . As I write this they are saying that the Market is up 300 points . http://www.bluegrasspreps.com/showthread.php?t=161756 I don't think anyone thought we would be under 7000 either. Interesting how many thought the slide was over last October. I like where I was told I was overreacting. Anyone now think the market will totally recover in 2-3 years? Edited March 10, 200917 yr by malachicrunch
