How do these tickets arrive? Regular mail . . . KHSAA envelope?

I still haven't gotten mine and just want to make sure I'm looking for the right thing!

Ours came by certified mail...you had to be there to sign for them.

Understand...why I love retirement...:D

Is it possible to show up on the day of the games and get lower level seats?

Actually, I have had friends get lower arena seats from the ticket windows on the day of the games for the past 4yrs.

You can get lower endzone day of game sometimes in team sections.

It may be possible for the first round afternoon sessions, but after that you would have to get very lucky to get lowers.

Actually, they have gotten lower seats for most of the sessions including the state championship game. They must just be lucky.

Or be willing to pay an arm and leg for them. I'd say there are people out there that get tickets just for that purpose. What a way to make some money for spring break!!

They bought them from the ticket window, not scalpers.

23 years for me ...

gosh I miss John Tong ....

Some of you probably remember these quotes:

"And from this point on .... both teams are in the bonus"

"Goal byyyyy Farmer .."

"John Doe (or whoever John chose) please report to the official scorers table"

I don't see how they got lower arena tickets from the ticket window for the semifinals or the finals I think this is unheard of. They may have gotten them from a scalper or after a team wins you can go out and get a ticket in the student section, but if they just walked up to the window and got lowers they really need to be playing the lottery.

Hey I remember when the players had to raise thier hand after a foul was called on them....

I would guess if they got that many they sat in student sections behind the goals, if not that was pretty cool. I would not try that this season on Thursday and Friday night sessions!:D

This will be my 30th year of attending a full session. A great family tradition with my older brother attending for 33 years and my father with his 43rd year.

I have been going since 1972 when it was in Louisville every year.

Got my tickets by Certified Mail.

You are in Basketball Heaven when you go to Sweet Sixteen. I hope everyone has a great time.
