Jefferson County will be moving many of their games to Thursday night as they have done in the past.

WKU joins the Sun Belt this year. They are no longer eligible for the I-AA playoff as they'll be looking for a trip to the East St. Louis Madam Bennett's Nail Salon and Hair Care Center Bowl.

You misunderstood my point. Trinity and St. Xavier make their facilities available to Mr. Frame for a more than fair price, therefore he will work with them by rescheduling the games that would have been played October 4. It's the old I'll scratch your back, you scratch mine.

 

Don't forget all of the league and playoff games in basketball. It's good that the CSAA and the green titans work together. They make a lot of dough together.

No, the KHSAA left Louisville mainly because U of L refused to guarantee the first weekend in December for the state finals.

I'm told a fair number of folks involved at the KHSAA would have preferred the championships remaining at UL for various reasons and had some reservations about it going to BG, but when UL could not guarantee the stadium for two years, the KHSAA had to move it. BG thus was given a golden opportunity to show it's stuff. And if they don't do a great job hosting the event and make it as profitable as it was at UL and if UL down the road is able to get ESPN and the Big East to agree to allow them to block out the first weekend in December, it could very well move back to UL in the future, which I'm sure that the BG and WKU folks understand very well. I will say this, having attended some Girls bball championships in BG at WKU, they've done a fantastic job in the past.

The only problem with Sunday afternoon is travel plans for alumni that come in town for the game. Most travelers leave town between 12:00 and 6:00. In the end, somebody is going to be affected by what ever day they played the game.

Bigeast.org has a composite schedule for the entire football season: and it includes all ABC/ESPN/ESPN2 telecasts for the Big East. They could have easily asked U of L and Pitt to play on a Thursday.:deadhorse: And so it goes.....as long as the Rocks can get the lead before the storm strikes....I guess I am getting ahead of myself...:banana::banana::banana:
