Elliott County 55 Fleming County 45

Elliott Girl's didn't bring their A game in this one. Just sort of coasted to the win. Hopefully saving the A game for some future dates. But, a W is a W and this team has now won 12 in a row with the last loss against Green County in Richmond back in Jan.

Congrads to the Lady Lions on their first regional victory and to Lakin for going over the 2,000 point mark. Boy's and Girl's combined should go over 50 wins combined by the time the regional concludes. Great season for Elliott County Basketball!!! Girl's record moves to an excellent 21-8 mark.

Lakin had 19 points and Shae 18 points to lead the way.:ylsuper:

No! Chappie and Edgington went on a run in the second half!!!:jump::banana:

Which one is the bald ref ?

:clap::clap::clap::clap:Congratulations girls!:clap::clap::clap::clap:

What does this mean?

I think it is a "ref" reference. Am I right?

Congratulations to Elliott County and a great start to your Regional tournament experience. May you have the same fortunes as the Boys have been experiencing. Good luck Thursday and hopefully Friday!

Does anyone know what the "T"'s were for :idunno: these refs seem to call a lot of them they was one in Monday's game also.

For jawing mostly from what I saw of it. Whatever happened to separating them and telling them to knock it off. T's weren't necessary IMO. Double T's and double fouls are pointless.

Wow I called this right on the head

That's why your KNOWITALL. Let's hope your right on again & the lady lions win by 10. Way to go girls, lets keep this party going.

Congrats to Elliott County.

Fleming had a fine season finishing 14 and 14 with a young team. They only lost 1 senior and should be in the thick of things next year.

I for one am glad that the "T's" are being spread around and not just during our game.

The "Double T" that was called during our game started out as a T against Elliott but after confuring with the other refs a double was called -cancelling each other out-. What the refs didn't see/stop were the numerous rolling around on the court after the ball . . . they were just "letting them play" I guess. But in this instance (toward the end of the game) one player from Team A and Team B were wrestling around for the ball. A second player from team B, almost trampled these two and words were spoken. Then a 2nd player from team A came to their defense. A technical was called on this 2nd player from team A. After "conferring" a double technical was called to cancel them both out but a foul was called (on someone?) and team B shot one foul shot.

Sorry I can't give you any more information . . . I came away just as confused as you probably are right now.:idunno:

S.Ferguson had 18 and Griffith with 19 points, 16 rebounds and 9 blocks. Fannin had 6 or 7 steals.

S. Ferguson also had 8 rebound's, 4 assist and 3 steal's

Elliott fought of some nerves and pulled out the victory.
