I hope this child is OK and returned to her mother!!

This makes me so sad when I see things like this. I hope she is returned safely back home and that man goes to jail.

So sad that someone like this can get to see his child. May she be found safe and sound.

What did he do that should prohibit him from seeing his daughter? Just curious, as I do not know details.

News said the guy was armed and suicidal, so he may be unbalanced from the get go?

Maybe that's what they meant?

My prayers go out to the family, especially the little one and the mother. may God return the little girl home safely.

Suicidal and armed certainly spells unstable to me, someone I certainly wouldn't want with a child.

WDKY says that the two were spotted in Alabama in route to Miles W. parents house.

The way the courts favor the mother in child custody proceedings, I don't find it unusual for a father to arm himself to get his daughter back.

BUT if you arm yourself to get a child back in this way, you are assuring yourself of never seeing saifd child again until it is grown because of your stay with the folks that will guard you night and day for 15 to 20 years.

If I had to arm myself to get my child back, I wouldn't be staying.

I just saw an interview with his parents on the Lexington news. They said he was trying to protect his daughter, so that she would be fed and have her diaper changed regularly, and wouldn't have drugs lying around all over the place. They added that the mother had pushed him to the limit, and he did what he did to protect his daughter from the mother.

He's no doubt going to have issues with the law when he is apprehended, but there's usually two sides to every story. She's told her side, and now the other side has told their's.

This guy has handled this wrong, but who knows, maybe this child is better off with its dad. But the courts don't usually rule in the father's favor, which is not always the best.

Amazing how people just jump to conclusions wiothout knowing one thing about the situation...
