Just curious but did anyone observe the coaching going on across the floor from the benches last night. There was one particular player from Harrison Co. (not going to name him) that was getting coached from the front row. I'm sure Coach Reitz was really happy with the extra coaching. When you have a coach the caliber of Mike Reitz I think I would leave the coaching to him. I'm sure he knows more about the game than 99.9% of the people in the gym.

I have a question actually about the game.. Does anyone know why Deming's coach was slapped with a technical in the last couple minutes of the game? what he was arguing, what he said, etc.

I think its like that every game.

Johnson was talking to an official and pointing to the scoreboard (I couldn't tell what for). As soon as the official started to walk away, an assistant yelled something and slapped a chair. A technical was immediately given to the Deming bench.

 

I'll leave it to everybody else whether it was deserved or not.

I agree I think it was the Assistant or someone else on the bench. They must have said a magic word though because the "T" was immediate.

Ah, we have those in just about every gym. Most are parents who are worrying about Jr scoring points.

Sounds like Custard came up big for HC. I really enjoy this kid play, he has proved his toughness throughout this tournament.

He is a tough kid and he scored the most points, but made some really ill advised passes. It wasn't his best game of the year by far. He is very capable as are several other Breds. Harrison County relying on several different players to lead them is the one thing that could make them dangerous.

Mt. Olivet Deming and they have been around for years. They are a very small school, but have some good athletes.
