This was a close game through 3 quarters. Lewis County was just too strong in the 4th quarter and they pulled away. Great effort again by Russell, though. It sounds strange saying it because they have such a bad record, but this has got to be one of my favorite basketball teams that Russell has had. It has been a pleasure watching them get better as the year has progressed. They are going to be very good next year.

 

Lewis County is clearly the better team this year, though. It was also good to see such an enthusiastic student section and fans there supporting their team. I could see them winning a game or two in the 16th region tournament.

Lewis County's fans and cheerleaders were the loudest and most enthusiastic I've seen all year. They were incredible supporting their team. Big hats off to them. I didn't think Russell could hit that many 3s again but they did. They've improved a 100% since early in the season. Great job by their coach.

Congrats to Lewis County and their fans were outstanding.

Congrats to the Lions. I also think they can win a game or two. I also agree this has been my favorite team to watch next to this years JV. Just hope we don't see Elliott on the court next week.

A really good game, Russell hung with Lewis County for most of the game, the first two minutes of the fourth quarter was the difference in the game. Good effort by Russell, and congratulations to Lewis County.

I remember Skaggs from Russell, Boyles from Raceland, a guard from Greenup (forgot the name). Sorry.
