Congrats to Coach Hampton and the Lions. We all are so proud of this team. I just wanted to say it has been such a pleasure to watch Chris Thompson this year I just wish he had another year or two with us, and what can you say about Terrence Smith he is everything to this team, great job by all of the boys. Congrats on being 63rd district champions and good luck in the region.

I remember Skaggs from Russell, Boyles from Raceland, a guard from Greenup (forgot the name). Sorry.

This game was a chess match with 2 of the better coaching staffs in the region, each team had good game plans, each team took away the others best options. Russell took away the size inside by double teaming the big guys inside, Lewis made it tough on Skaggs to get an open look. But other players stepped up for their teams, the end result was Russell had no answer for Smith creating and getting to the lane for good looks. Both of these teams improved through out the year and are playing their best ball here at the end of season. Congrats to both teams on advancing to the regional tourney and Good Luck!! Lewis pep section and fans were super as always at this time of the year, make plans for next Saturday at Morehead.:jump:
