Ryle 58 Conner 56 (OT)

Am I correct that Avery is a JR? If so, he's easily a top-10 9th region player next year.

Top-10 is lowballing him. From what I saw, he could be top-3.

Conner will bring back Avery and Stephens next year with a load of Sophomores to go with it. The early exit has to be disappointing to Coach Hicks, but the future looks extrmely bright.

Yeah but one game is tough to make that kind of call. He may have top three ability but he has a long way to go to prove that. He'll have to get more consistent but I see no reason why he couldn't either. He's got tons of athleticism and talent hopefully he continues to grow as a player. He should be fun to watch.

I think there are 3 guys at Holmes that will be ranked 1,2,3 before anyone else.

Also I think Gabbard has been tremendous this entire year and would be up there before Avery. But I think the Avery kid is a very nice player.

You're right about the Holmes players but I'm not convinced their offensive game is as good as what I saw from Avery last night.

I was saying that I don't think he is top 3. He might have that kind of potential, but he's gotta prove it first.

Sounds like a great game. I wish I could have been there. Glad to hear Stauffer have a big night. He has potential to be a very good player in the future.

It was definitely an exciting game and big win for Ryle. Good luck on Friday!

It sounds like many fans may have needed some fresh underwear after this game. Very exciting finish! Congrats to the Raiders on the big win.

I wouldn't say "many." Disappointing support for the teams. 2000+ kids combined between the two schools and there weren't 200 there between the two teams. This game should have been packed.
