I thought Gov. Jindal did a good job. His message was a very good one. The problem most seem to have with his speech was his "style".

 

Message was great, style was bad. I've heard and seen Jindal a lot. He'll give Obama a run if he is given the chance.

"Am I wrong that the only thing missing tonight was another 'Mission Accomplished' banner?" That was Olbermann.

Matthews was no better when he followed with "He got to be president because of his father. The same way he got into school and everything else.... the same way he got his car, probably."

Governor Bobby Jindal walking from somewhere in the back of this narrow hall, this winding staircase looming there, the odd antebellum look of the scene. Some people heard my reaction at the time. What was the message in all this? Was this some mimicking of a president walking along the state floor to the East Room?
