Texas 73 Oklahoma 68

Can't deny that. Will certainly be interesting to see how they do with lower expectations placed on them this season...

Probably make a run to the Elite 8 so the high expectations can resurface for next year.

I wouldn't want to see Texas in my pod on Selection Sunday. They have the talent to make a run. AJ can put 10 in a row on you before you can blink when he's on and James is a stud. Also some solid role players in Johnson, Pittman, Mason and now Balbay. Barnes made a few mistakes in handling the loss of DJ, but if they get it figured out the Horns are very dangerous in a tournament setting.

OU can learn a lot from this one. We'll see..

Agree bigtime.

If Balbay can be a solid contributer, Texas is tough.

The only problem is that Barnes is the coach, and he usually finds a way for an early exit. His biggest plus is he's a great recruiter.

He's not though.

Deny all you want. If there is a list of five guys, he's on it. Maybe top three.

Better than I thought actually, but I've thought the last couple years they were better than where they finished.

In the Sweet 16 five of the last seven seasons, with one final four and three elite eights.

Nah, he can't coach.

Remember how some UK fans were bashing Barnes' candidacy for the job a couple of years ago? UK would love to have Barnes' success of recent years.

No, I don't think he's a real candidate. There's no denial. He could end up top three, he could end up top ten...either way, the race is over, IMO...

A much more proven winner than their current coach.

CANDIDATE. Look it up.

^ So Jodie Meeks is the Libertarian in this race....perfect. I am sure he doesn't care about being an also-ran as much as some of you all do.

I think he is more like Hillary. He will be a finalist, but never really have a chance to win the prize. Hillary was hot at the end but it wasn't enough to catch O who was so good at the beginning that the lead was commanding.

When did Griffin get his concussion? They kept saying on the game it was when he got that little tap on the nose. I can't see how that gave him a concussion, he didn't even get his head moved.
