When is Coach Copley going to start full time?

Hopefull March 26....

Thats not soon enough he needs to start yesterday.

I agree but that is when Coach said he "hopes" he gets to start.

Mandatory weightlifting needs to be happening. Needs to be 3days a week at least. The longer it's not mandatory farther behind they fall.

I agree, so does Coach Copley but what do you do?

We have George Coleman there Monday, Wednesday and Friday for all sports, they need to participate. George told me last night that the 42K worth of equipment should be in next week and they are going to put the weight room in one of the old agriculture rooms and it will be state of the art facility.:thumb:

As I have stated before, this is a big part of what keeps Greenup County from achieving its' full potential. (The lack of a consistent off season program.) I know this is one of the strengths that Coach Copley lent to Pikeville and we are all anxious to see this start happening here!

This is a major part of Copleys game plan. We will be strong when he gets here and gets to work.

Even if Coach Copley isn't their yet, It should still be MANDATORY!!! Baker/Ailister/Coleman should all be stressing this to the boys. Attendance should be taken. The minimum goal should be 35boys staying after school for weightlifting.

We need to make that suggestion...

How many are staying after school?

How many are staying after school?

Not many, but today my son is starting back since JV is done, so maybe he will get some others to follow..

I assume you mean mandatory except for those boys involved in other sports?

After a review of program rules, I want to take back my use of the word "mandatory". It can not be mandatory, and to avoid any possible rules violations I would recomend that attendance not be taken. I support an off season weightlifting program, as my previous posts will prove. BUT, we need to be vary careful when discussing attendance expectations. The only "mandatory" activities for Football begin in July.

We knew what you meant, no one was on the line with the KHSAA.
