Griffey to Seattle

Featured Replies

It's good to see Griffey in the AL, because now he dosen't have to play the field everyday and can DH quite a bit.

Did anyone hear/ read the GM's quote when he said Griffey might be one of the best athletes to ever play in Seattle?

Might be? Is he in the running with Slick Watts?

I wish Griffey well. I am glad that he is back in Seattle, even more glad that he is not in Atlanta:D and I hope that he has a fantastic season with the M's.

It is right for him to end his career there. He would like to win a WS I think, but no teams want him at this point in his career if they are already a contender.

:thumb:

Now I can pull for him and his team.since hes in Seattle away from my Reds team. Unless both teams make the WS.

I like the Braves better but he belongs where it all began. He will retire next year or the year after. He won't be there no longer that his next contract.

Can one of you Reds fanatics please help me with something. PM and I'll give you the details.

Thanks!

PM sent.
